Greg and Anne… A Perfect Match…
Anne and Greg met on August 4, 2014 for a first date after connecting on an online dating website. As months went by they quickly learned they were A PERFECT MATCH!! Both of the families fit together wonderfully. Greg proposed to Anne on Christmas Eve 2015 in Jacksonville, FL and they married on June 18, 2016. Anne wore a lace v-neck fit and flare gown designed by David Tutera. The gown had an illusion back accented with covered buttons.
Anne and Greg married at First Baptist Church in Marion, NC. The reception was held at Lake Tahoma Casino.

Favorite wedding memory:
Riding my parents’ pontoon boat to Lake Tahoma Casino for our reception! The weather was fantastic on our special day! Truly magical!
Would you have done anything different in planning your wedding:
There is nothing I would change! We used local vendors that were family friends from my home town for every aspect of our wedding weekend. FBC of Marion and Lake Tahoma have been part of my entire life since birth. We will always return to Marion to visit in the future and these special places will always be a reminder of family and our wedding day!
Advice for brides currently planning their wedding:
My best advice is to hire help and trust their creativity! If you try to micromanage every detail you will drive yourself crazy! Wedding planning can take on a life of its own if you let it! Enjoy your day and it should reflect you and your spouse, no one else! Absorb every second and every feeling!
Who/What has been the best source of support and encouragement:
Each of our parents have been married 35+ years and they have been the best support and example of love and life for us!
We hope to enjoy as much quality time together as possible around our hectic work schedules! We hope to see our families as much as possible, and go on a big vacation prior to trying to start our own family.
Would you change anything about your story:
Since being married, I have learned that our paths were meant to cross and we were meant to find each other. We were older when we met, but that was how it was supposed to be! There is nothing I would change!
Best Advice you were given about Marriage:
Marriage is a wonderful gift! Marriage is hard… but only if you’re selfish or lazy! A good marriage is a daily contest of generosity. Marriage makes the good times better and the bad times not as bad. Keep these thoughts in your mindset that is my best advice!
