Veteran’s day is a day to celebrate, honor, and show gratitude for the men and women who spend their time and give their lives to protect this country. This year, we here at Poffie Girls wanted to do something special to honor the sacrifices that these heroes have made for us and for our country. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to partner with the incredible Non-profit Brides Across America to help give back to the members of our community who protect, serve, and work day after day to keep us safe.
Brides Across America’s mission is to share the love with the military brides and frontline workers who give their service by gifting them their dream wedding dresses. The organization works by partnering with local bridal salons in their communities and hosting “Operation Wedding Gown” events, where military brides and first responder brides are surprised with their dream wedding gowns by bridal boutiques that donate their salon and their time with Brides Across America. This amazing organization has gifted over 24,000 wedding dresses and 22 free weddings to the brides that work to keep this country safe.
This Veteran’s day, Poffie Girls in partnership with Brides Across America gave away 24 wedding dresses to these incredibly deserving brides. To our veterans, military brides, and frontline workers: we are eternally grateful for your service, and it’s just a way we can honor you for all your sacrifices! This entire experience was amazing, moving, and full of joy and tears, and we are so thankful to have been a part of giving back.
