How did you and your husband meet? It was November 2007. Meg received a text earlier in the day from a friend that a bunch of people would be gathering at Loft 1523 to hang out and socialize that night. Meg agreed to meet everyone out. That night while overlooking Charlotte’s beautiful uptown view, a guy named Sink walked over to the group and struck up a conversation with Meg. The rest, as they say, is history…..

How was your experience at Poffie Girls? GREAT! I had exhausted myself at several different places looking for the perfect dress to no avail. My Mom and I pulled into the parking lot of Poffie Girls where we were already getting excited just seeing the beautiful and charming southern home! Upon walking in we were happy to find LOTS of dresses, great prices, a very friendly staff and what would eventually be MY DRESS! J So exciting!! Elaine made us feel right at home and her willingness to help and mutual excitement was very comforting. Our experience was so great in fact, that I decided to not only get my dress at Poffie Girls, but we would also order my bridesmaids dresses there. Why look anywhere else?

What did you like most about working with Poffie Girls? I loved the personal touch. The follow up calls to let me know my dress would arrive around a certain date, the letter letting me know my dress had arrived, AND the PINK signature garment Poffie Girls bag that goes along with the dress! And let’s face it, how fun is it to say Poffie Girls!?

What your favorite part about your wedding? I LOVED my wedding! It was truly my dream day. I definitely felt like a “winter princess!” One of my favorite moments was our first dance. Our reception took place in a huge renovated barn, and we danced to the song “January Wedding” by The Avett Brothers (a native North Carolina band). The song fit perfectly with the barn atmosphere and of course, our January wedding. Simply perfect!
